Mama Armstrong always told Mark to shut his yapper. He never did. He instead thought he should get paid to keep it open. He hails from Calgary and loves his hockey, sometimes he even attempts to play it. His biggest claim to fame is when he gets behind the mic and belts out some Poison When he’s not rocking out in the booth, you’ll find him in a pub, playing golf, or chilling in a hot tub. If you find him in yours, give us a call and we will come and get him.

Like many other folks in this northern Alberta town, Leanne hails from a big rock in the North Atlantic. Though some would say it was ill-advised, she followed this crazy childhood dream of hers and got a journalism degree, somehow falling in love with radio along the way. Since graduating and moving to Fort McMurray back in 2012, she’s settled into a cozy little home with her fella and her cat. When not talking into microphones, she’s usually walking through the woods, or reading something that will add to her endless amount of useless knowledge. Kindness and Gummy Bears go a long way in her books.

T-Wolfe came to Fort Mac nine years ago with that “one year plan” (like so many others).  It didn’t take her long to start thinking of this city as home. She’s the longest running current radio host in Fort McMurray and she’s not going anywhere anytime soon (if nothing else, that mortgage will keep her around for many years to come).   T-Wolfe has her feet planted firmly in the community and the local music scene.  As Cruz FM’s resident rocker, it’s not unusual to find her in the studio with the tunes cranked and horns up and hair straight back!!!

Andrew Wilcox is a storyteller. He has been since he turned his hockey stick into a microphone, leaving his pro sports career to die on his parent’s farm. Raised on Johnny Cash and the Everly Brothers, inspired by Pearl Jam and The Clash and horrible at the guitar, he wanted to get paid to play music and knew the only way was on the airwaves. Radio has sent him around the province and even across Canada over the past 12 years but he’s always called Alberta home. Listen weekdays from 3pm – 7pm to hear his views, music news and more.

Lisa landed in Fort McMurray in the mid 90's, to work in radio for the weekends, and office administration for the oil sands during the week (Syncrude Canada Ltd). She is now a heavy equipment operator and still loving radio and music. Sometimes it's confusing though, as she'll wear work boots in studio, and crank-up the tunes in the heavy equipment. Best of both worlds really. Lisa is a wanna be comedian, but ultimately makes for a better audience member. You find that funny do ya?
